How to prioritize school for PCT, Phlebotomy, HHA, CNA, and EKG
It seems as if we are constantly juggling our responsibilities with a thing we call life. This is a topic I’ve touched upon briefly in previous blog posts, and one that I think EVERYBODY needs. More often than not, humans tend to crumble when faced with high stress environments. This is relative depending on the individual. I am here to give you a couple reasons why YOU will not fold under pressure, and why you will rise above any challenge life may throw your way, especially in regard to school.
Let’s be realistic, prioritizing school is something that sounds great in theory, but it never actually happens. Why? This is because life comes knocking at our door in the form of your ANNOYING boss, or maybe your children, or my personal favorite, bills. Somehow, when faced with the adversities of everyday life, education tends to take a back seat. I’ve been there, done that.
There comes a point in everybody’s life where we ask ourselves “How did we get here?”. At the end of the day, a driving motive in society is money, dollar bills, cash, dough, or green. However you put it, the only way you can succeed in life, whatever your definition of success may be, is by working SMARTER not HARDER. A person can be the hardest worker in the world, yet still make minimum wage working 12 hour shifts 5 days a week. This is YOUR opportunity to work SMARTER not HARDER.
Enrolling in Center for Career Training is your token to a brighter future. This is bigger than school, this is your LIFE. You are the author of your own book. You determine how much income you bring home. You decide if you’re prepared to to take the steps that can lead you towards the life you’re longing for.
You can do this and we hope to see you along the way.

How to get a Phlebotomy Certification
As of late, students are enrolling and participating in schools that teach how to draw blood. This seems to be a very fun job and Phlebotomy is continuing to gain popularity. Even students who puncture veins as a part of their daily routine will fall in love with art of extracting blood through human skin.
This common practice can be learned by attending an institution that specializes in turning knowledge seekers into certified drawers of blood. The curriculum will prepare students for a national certification in Phlebotomy. Performing phlebotomy duties can be exciting and one can acquire several types of jobs, including a hospital or a blood lab.
In reality, getting a National Phlebotomy Certification can be achieved in a relatively short amount of time. Center for Career Training prepares students for the National Exam by showing students both written and technical techniques.
This is accomplished by participating in an 80 course(3 weeks in the day or 5 weeks in the evening). Hence, this course is a 2 in 1 course. A student will obtain a certificate in basic phlebotomy along participating the phlebotomy course that will prepare them for the national exam. In addition, there a few items which must be submitted in order to qualify for taking the exam.
When the course training has finalized, a student must possess and provide proof of 30 documented draws(sticks), 10 capillaries(finger sticks), and a copy of a high school diploma or GED. Upon successfully passing the national certification exam, a student can procure work where they enjoy doing what they do best. After learning in a fun environment at Center for Career Training, a student will take the knowledge and apply their skills and talent as a Phlebotomy professional.
